yay i'm actually writing my essay

question: the gospels.

which are the actual names of the books?
"the gospel of", "gospel of", "the gospel according to", "gospel according to", or just "name" is ok? some books of mine have "gospel" written with a capital G, and some don't. what should i do for my essay? D:

thanks, i'm going to use "the" unless i see some other books/sources omitting it. and yeah, lol, english does love that article... there are a lot of italian people studying english that keep using it before every word because they're afraid of missing its proper use!

Yeah I was watching this video on youtube that was an English lesson for people whose first language was ASL, and it was explaining the difference between a/the. My mind was blown. (My first language was English so I never really put much thought into how it works sometimes...)
