my bible is a new revised standard version and it also says "the gospel according to"; however i'm not sure if the article "the" should be included in the title... ? mine doesn't say anything about the word "gospel", although i found what you just said online, so i'm going to go with a capital G whenever i mention them -- now i'm just unsure about what the actual titles of the books are. i'm writing an essay for biblical studies so i wouldn't want to get this wrong, lol.
