kidyounotthere were elections in sardinia last week. guess who got elected as governor? the son of berlusconi's accountant.
i think i have nothing to add to this.
also, in rome they basically set up a ghetto. there is a restricted zone "assigned" to immigrants, and now it is going to be closed after 10pm (don't know what time it opens in the morning), with nobody allowed to enter or leave, and every visitor needs to be escorted by a policeman. i mean, people are basically hold prisoners.
